Use of Artificial Intelligence
The journal recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may assist authors during the preparation of scientific manuscripts. However, their use must be transparent, responsible, and consistent with the principles of scientific integrity and authorship accountability.
The use of AI is:
- Permitted only as a support tool for tasks such as language editing, grammar correction, formatting assistance, or improving readability;
- Not permitted as a substitute for authorship or for the independent generation of scientific content, interpretations, conclusions, data, or original research findings.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, originality, and validity of all content submitted to the journal, regardless of whether AI-assisted tools were used during manuscript preparation. Any use of artificial intelligence tools must be explicitly disclosed at the time of manuscript submission. Authors should provide a clear statement describing the AI tool(s) used and the purpose for which they were employed. Failure to disclose the use of AI tools may be considered a breach of the journal’s publication ethics policies.
