Complaints and Appeals Policy
The journal provides formal mechanisms for addressing concerns, complaints, and appeals related to its editorial and publication processes. These procedures are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in all editorial decisions.
The journal accepts and evaluates:
- Complaints submitted by authors, reviewers, or readers regarding editorial procedures, publication ethics, or journal operations;
- Appeals against editorial decisions, including manuscript rejection or other outcomes of the peer-review process.
All complaints and appeals are handled impartially and confidentially by the editorial team, with consideration given to the evidence and circumstances presented by the parties involved.
The journal follows the principles and best-practice recommendations established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, https://publicationethics.org/) when investigating and resolving complaints and appeals. These procedures are intended to ensure that all cases are managed in a fair, transparent, and consistent manner while maintaining the integrity of the editorial process.
