Authorship and Contributions

The journal adheres to the authorship criteria established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), ensuring that authorship is granted only to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, or interpretation of the study.

To promote transparency and accountability, authors are required to provide:

  • A detailed statement of author contributions using the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) framework (https://credit.niso.org);
  • Shared responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the published work.

These requirements are intended to prevent inappropriate authorship practices, including:

  • Honorary or guest authorship;
  • Ghost authorship.

By implementing these standards, the journal seeks to ensure proper recognition of contributions and uphold ethical practices in scientific publishing.
