Journal Scope and Editorial Policy
The journal Ciencia y Tecnología aplicada a la Salud Pública publishes original, unpublished, and high-quality scientific manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of health sciences across a broad range of disciplines, including biomedical, clinical, surgical, and related fields. The journal’s editorial focus prioritizes the dissemination of research that generates new scientific knowledge and contributes to the improvement of medical practice and public health. The journal welcomes studies that provide relevant evidence to support the improvement of health outcomes and healthcare systems at both national and international levels, with particular attention to issues of relevance to the Peruvian context.

In addition, the journal promotes the publication of research on the implementation, assessment, and impact of health technologies, as well as analyses of public health policies aimed at strengthening the efficiency, equity, quality, and sustainability of health systems. Adopting a comprehensive perspective on health, the journal encourages submissions that address the social, environmental, economic, and organizational determinants of health. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the journal seeks to foster evidence-based decision-making and support the development of effective strategies for improving population health and healthcare delivery.
